Mr. Levy is a successful owner and operator of real estate properties with over twenty years of experience in ownership and real estate advisory services. He has significant achievements identifying, locating, acquiring, developing and managing properties and facilities for growth companies as well as his private ownership group. He has acquired properties and developed sales, leasing and management strategies for Newmark Knight Frank, The Galbreath Company, Met Life, The Royal Bank of Canada, The Praedium Group, Kipp-Stawski and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Levy has increased revenues, occupancy and return on investment and has managed private equity investment properties, corporate real estate and financial institution portfolios. In 2005, having moved to Tampa from New York City, Mr. Levy launched Keller Williams Realty of Apollo Beach, a highly profitable national real estate franchise during a declining market growing the organization to over 60 sales associates. He ran the day-to-day business operations including the sales and financial management of the company leading to record ownership profits and national growth for an independently owned and operated real estate franchise. Currently, Mr. Levy remains as a majority shareholder and controlling principal of the company. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Levy served as the Vice President/Managing Director for Newmark Knight Frank, where he was recruited to lead marketing and new business development for a division of this $4.5B leader in leasing, property management and advisory services. He managed leasing for a portfolio, representing 4+ million square feet of space and $800M+ in value, directing property management, construction, marketing and leasing programs. He was responsible for contract profit and loss, negotiations, operations, and advising clients on all aspects of property acquisition, sale, management and operation. From 1997 to 1999, Mr. Levy was CEO of Downtown Properties Corporation. He led the start up of this private consultancy, providing financial analysis, consolidation, and project due diligence advisory services to corporate clients. He advised tenants and landlords on property and facility mergers and acquisitions, consolidations, management and operations. As Associate Managing Director at the Galbreath Company from 1995 to 1997, Mr. Levy led new business development for this leading national leasing, development and property management firm. He implemented marketing programs, made sales and leasing presentations, formulated spreadsheets and prepared financial analyses for principals and clients at all levels. He also negotiated transactions and performed strategic planning. Mr. Levy began his career as Broker-Sales Manager for Electronic Realty Associates in 1988, where he built and led a thirty member residential sales team for this nationwide realty firm. He managed the listing and selling of properties, prospecting, marketing and development of canvassing programs. He established and conducted weekly sales meetings, prepared sales projections and reports and designed, implemented and directing sales training programs. Mr. Levy has a BA, in English Literature from Binghamton University and holds Real Estate Licenses in Florida, California and New York. A Past Member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), Mr. Levy is currently a Member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Florida Association of Realtors (FAR) and the Greater Tampa Bay Area of Realtors (GTAR). |
